Watch Youtube on Amazon Fire with Firefox
Despite the Youtube app not being available it is possible to access it through the internet browser Firefox. The step by step process to achieve this is simple:
- Search for “Firefox” on Fire TV
- Download “Firefox” on Fire TV
- Launch “Firefox for Fire TV”
You could also achieve this through voice control by holding down the microphone and saying “Firefox”.
Right at the top of the application is blatantly placed Youtube bookmark which will take you to the website version of the site. Using the application will require you to sign in to your Youtube/ Google account using a verification code.
Now you are good to go! All that is required in the future is for you to launch the Youtube app through Firefox and you can sidestep this withdrawal by Google.
