Amazon Fire tablets are getting more smart home functions
Amazon is adding a selection of new functions for the control of smart home devices. The upgrade is being rolled out and can be accessed on the devices from a new Smart Home button on the navigation bar. Whilst these devices can already be controlled with the user’s voice, this new aspect is aimed to add a new touch-based control. The idea is that in some instances this will be just a bit easier than using the voice. Fire tablets could be used as a central remote in the living room.
